It all started back in february 2021, when I had the idea of making my own character and her backstory too. I´ve made several OCs in the past since I was a little kid, but now it was different, I knew I wanted to make something more serious, putting effort into the story writing, the characters, world building, etc. Her name was Limber, and she was a very optimistic 13 yo
Since the beginning I wanted it to be a comic, but at that time I also wanted to write a book, all with the same story and characters, just different format. Of course Limber had to have friends: Rachel, Isaac, and later on, Kendra.
The script for the comic was the book itself; as I said before, I wanted it to be something people could take seriously, a story with some kind of deep message, you know, that kind of stuff.
I was doing my best at that time and I was really looking forward to it, but I stil felt it was mediocre, which later led me to take a little break from it and reconsider what I really wanted to do with the whole project. Then I decided to let it be something less structured and serious, and instead something I could relate to. Now I focused more on my own dreams and memories, allowing myself to take inspiration from stuff I liked, even if it all seemed too abstract.
It was at that moment when I started thinking about the project as a multimedia one, meaning that it could consist of a comic, animations, videos, and of course, a website!
Limber became Juke; Kendra became Aralia; Isaac didn´t change as much; Rachel was no longer a character in this project. Finally, Boris was born back in november 2021, when I wanted to have a wizard OC. He was initially intended to be Isaac´s love interest (kinda), but later on I changed my mind, now they´re just friends. I was really excited with this new member of the project, it was kind of refreshing to have a character who just was a magic, gay and mysterious creature.
Back in october 2021 I made my first attempt at a website: a Carrd.co. In november of that same year, I made another one, with the intention to make it look like an old website, even if I didn´t really achieve it lol I really wanted to make my own website for my OCs and the whole project, but at that time I thought it would be so hard for me that I couldn´t make it, I didn´t even try, so I decided to use Carrd. I was really happy with the results, but I wanted to do something I could fully customize without storage limits. Then, one month later, I started my own neocities website. The one you are visiting right now =) !!! 2022 was the year I worked the most on this site! Or at least, the most frequently. Between august 2022 and 2024, I had kind of an art block with this website, even though I kept updating and changing it. In 2025 I started to make it look like it does today, but it´ll never stay the same for too long! The idea behind it stayed always the same though: a virtual space for my 4 beautiful children (OCs) and their world to exist forever.
This website has experienced a lot of changes, comparing what it looks like today with the very first time I created it, they almost look like two completely different websites.
